5. Age Restriction
Medvive‘s services are intended for individuals aged 18 and above. Parental or legal guardian consent is required for users under 18.
6. Medvive‘s Role in Your Healthcare Experience
Medvive facilitates connections with licensed healthcare professionals but does not provide medical care directly. All medical decisions are made by the Clinicians and Practices.
- The timeliness of responses
- Canceled or missed appointments
- Any medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment provided
- The quality or cost of care
- Any injury, loss, or damages from using the Services
6.1 No Doctor–Patient Relationship with Medvive
Medvive does not establish a doctor–patient or provider–patient relationship. Any medical advice or service is provided solely by the Clinician or Practice.
6.2 Communication & Responsibility
Clinicians or Practices may send you messages, reports, or emails regarding your health and treatment. It is your responsibility to monitor and respond to these communications. Medvive is not responsible for any consequences resulting from:
- Your failure to read or respond to messages,
- Missed medical instructions,
- Delayed or undelivered communications due to network issues or incorrect notification settings.
6.3 Your Relationship with Medvive
While Medvive does not provide medical services, by using our platform, you establish a customer relationship with us to access technology-enabled healthcare services. As part of this, you may share personal and health-related information, which we handle in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
7. Limited Use and Availability
Our Services may be subject to state or federal regulations and may change from time to time due to changes in applicable regulatory requirements. In some cases, the Services may not be the most appropriate way for you to manage your health and wellness or communicate with a healthcare provider.
For example, certain conditions may require an in-person visit or a different provider. You may be notified if a submitted issue is inappropriate for the platform, along with next steps.

Medvive is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or relevance of any information. All information is educational and not a substitute for professional care.
Medvive is not liable for:
- The quality or outcomes of treatment provided via the Services,
- Missed, delayed, or unfulfilled appointments,
- Losses or damages from relying on platform information.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Medvive and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:
- Your use of the Services,
- Your submitted content,
- Your violation of these Terms.
Medvive reserves the right to assume exclusive control of such defense, at your expense, if required.
13. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising from or related to these terms and conditions, both parties agree to seek a resolution through negotiations between parties. If a resolution cannot be reached through negotiations, the parties shall appoint a mutual arbitrator. If parties cannot agree on an arbitrator, the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators shall choose an independent arbitrator who may initiate arbitration proceedings in accordance with the rules and regulations of Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators, and the decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. - Respectful Behavior: Users must behave respectfully and professionally toward Clinicians and other users. Disrespectful language, harassment, or inappropriate behavior will lead to termination of account.
- Compliance with Laws: You agree to comply with all applicable local, state, and national laws while using the platform.
- Accurate Information: You are responsible for providing accurate and complete health information during consultations and updating your profile as necessary.
2. Use of Platform
- Account Responsibility: By submitting information to Medvive, you affirm that it is accurate, current, and not related to any third party. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your username and password. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, you must notify us immediately.
- Single-User Account: Each user is allowed only one account. Sharing accounts or using another person's account is prohibited.
- Prohibited Activities:
- Fraudulent or deceptive activities.
- Using the platform for non-medical purposes or illegal activities.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or any other user's data.
